GOD's my island hideaway, keeps danger far from the shore,
throws garlands of hosannas around my neck.

it came today!

T and i are both struggling with our weight these days. bad food, little to no exercise and the pounds just keep increasing. go figure. but now we're ready to get our butts (and arms, legs, tummies, etc.) back in proper shape. and here's the machine that's gonna help us do just that! introducing our new total gym!

gotta love that ugly green carpet!

this used to be our schoolroom. but it's the only place the total gym fits decently (along with our old treadmill). so the school stuff got moved out and the exercise equipment moved in.

now to use it and *hopefully* lose it! yay!

  1. That's great. I hope it helps you guys. "Go Tracey, Go Steph!" That's us cheering for you. If you want any helpful tips just call Kirbs, I think he's down 40-some pounds from less than a year ago! . . . and he's in charge of "inspirational thoughts" for his departments biggest loser campaign. He forwards them to me. They are hilarious . . . and inspiring too!
Enjoy! Once you get into the swing of it working out is really fun and kinda addicting!

  2. Good job! I think it looks a little like a torture inducer, but that's okay... =) I was down 13 pounds until 3 days ago. Things are tasting too good again...I must stop! My treadmill will be put to action again soon--maybe tomorrow! You're inspiring me.

  3. i'm loving it so far, guys! it's not very hard to use and NOT a torture inducer, annie! unlike walking on the treadmill which just drives me insane and takes forever to be effective! this machine is something i can handle and maybe even enjoy! i like that there's so many options for exercises. and bubba can use it too! woohoo!
